

I recently bought their 700w inverter but on delivery it doesn't even start up so that will be going back for a refund. I'm part of a large 4x4 group and on showing them they agreed it was just to much.

I was most interested recently when I saw they were bringing out a new lithium battery pack BUT at $2000 plus shipping ide say that is wayyyyyy overpriced compared with others in the market. Sorry but if you are marketing emergency lights as party lights that's a serious problem! I've also had a fridge, awning, wiring, plugs, terminals, mppt controller, solar panel and microwave pack from them with no major issues but that doesn't mean there hasn't been any. Fourth was the handypack that didn't come with the mircolite panel I ordered, Fifth was newly designed flashlights with slightly stronger magnets that I had attached to the house fridge but they don't hold up I wrote my concerns on their website and YouTube channel surrounding the use of red/blue lights as these colours are ONLY for emergency services use not civilians but they replied buy telling me that they are for a bit of fun as party lights on YouTube and by email that they are to be used for emergency only? They then removed my comments altogether. Third was their flashlights but my lanyards were weak, magnets that couldn't hold up well and water got into one of them at 0.5m deep for only a few seconds and didn't work after that.for a waterproof light? Didn't honour any warranty on that. Read more before do maybe they've changed to a cheaper manufacturer? The second time I bought a shower tent but all the top straps were cut WAY to short so that was replaced under warranty and a 3 week wait. Since then I've bought many products to support a Queensland business but the quality of products seems to have slipped and despite their Australian based R&D everything that's coming from China isn't the quality I was getting. The first thing I ever bought was a battery pack and it's was great and lasted year's.

Years ago when Klaeton first started Australian Direct products they were truly KICK ASS including local fluent English speaking customer service but over the years as they've grown that has changed and not for the better in my opinion. To add the pump supplied had broken attachments to affix but I can live with that. I have already waited for the back order stock to come in after my order was placed thus its been weeks since my money has zoomed out my wallet and the main item has disappeared off the face of the earth. I would expect a new item is sent as soon as possible as the replacement. I am hoping this review is read by them or Klaeton and they can escalate, however I won’t be ordering anything else from them if it isn’t delivered undamaged or replaced as a lost item. I just called Toll as I work in logistics heavily and they have told me the item was as stated lost HOWEVER they have had NO correspondence with Australian Dir.

To date it hasn’t arrived and I have only been promised they are still investigating with the transport company. The shower unit was lost in transit over 10 days ago and I was told by customer service this would be followed up with the courier until it was found within 10 days. I am still waiting for my third item to be delivered as a package deal.
